JFE-S.E.M.T. Pielstick
PC2.6 B CR Best-in-class fuel consumption
JFE Engineering has developed and started selling a new model, the PC2.6B CR, by electronically controlling the fuel injection system of its main model, the PC2.6B engine, to improve performance. This engine was co-developed with MAN Energy Solutions France and adopts the proven MAN common rail system to ensure high reliability. Additionally, by incorporating a new radial turbocharger, newly designed cylinder head, and advanced Miller cycle, the fuel consumption rate near the normal load has been improved by approximately 4%, successfully reducing GHG gas emissions. Furthermore, the emission of black smoke at low loads has been reduced by about 60% compared to conventional models, achieving both high efficiency and low emissions.

JFE-MAN V28/33D STC
Sequential supercharging system improves performance under low-load operation
The JFE-MAN V28/33D STC is a V-type high-speed engine with a lineup of three cylinder variations: 12V, 16V, and 20V. The output range is from 6,000 kW to 10,000 kW, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The greatest feature is the sequential turbo charger(STC) system that improves performance in the low-load range which is frequently used. Despite its high output, the STC system significantly reduces fuel consumption and exhaust gas temperature in the low-load operating range. This enables more economical operation.
